昼の貸切温泉とセットで昼食のフルコースを頂きました。
1時間にも満たない懐石料理で、回転を重視されてるせいか、接客も慌ただしい感じでした。
味は、一般の懐石料理屋には劣ります。感動がありません。普通のホテル懐石です。
旧宮家の閑院宮家の夏の別荘として昭和初期に建てられており、和の伝統と箱根の雄大かつ繊細な景色を最大限に生かした美しい建築です。ラウンジも素敵でした。
ひとつ残念なのが、箱根登山線が真横を通っているので、決して静寂ではないです。
一流の料理を期待していたので、ガッカリでした。
