＊140917 Tosa Sushi Restaurant where you can eat fresh seafood caught in the sea off Kochi at a reasonable price. It seems that they have three restaurant in Kochi City and restaurant in Osaka. I wanted to go to the main store, but it was fully booked that day, so I went to this annex a little further away. The flashy beckoning cat exterior is impressive. The clean interior has about 20 counter seats and three tatami rooms, and we were guided to the tatami rooms as a group of four. We toasted with beer and ordered the "Orankuya Recommended Course (5 dishes) (3,980 yen)" for each person, and added our favorite dishes. Appetizers (3 types), sashimi (3 types), grilled shellfish, seven pieces of sushi, and chawanmushi. We also ordered seared bonito and fried pufferfish. The sashimi was quite fresh. For alcohol, we had a few glasses of their specialty "Takezake" (450 yen), sake poured into a frozen bamboo. My overall impression was that it was a family-friendly sushi Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), reasonably priced and fairly fresh, but honestly that was about it. There was a wide selection of snacks and alcohol, and the prices were clear, so it was a place that tourists could feel comfortable using.
