Today I visited Charcoal Grilled Kochi Hormone. It is on the right side when you walk from Hyottoko Sushi on Otesuji Street towards Obiyacho. I can't decide between charcoal grilling and Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot). I want to eat both, so I ordered a little charcoal grilling and Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot) lol I ordered charcoal grilled round intestines and aged kakumaku. Round intestines: plump and melting inside. The fat is also full of umami. Aged kakumaku: skirt steak. Marbled, soft, and juicy. Special marbled horse sashimi (with mane): sweet and with just the right amount of elasticity. The mane is sweet and melts in your mouth. Eating the mane and red meat together makes for an exquisite taste. Sweetness, umami, and fat are irresistible. Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot): soy sauce flavor. It has a mellow and sharp taste. The garlic and chili peppers give it a spicy and rich flavor. The tripe was plump and had no bad smell. The vegetables also melted into the soup, adding to the umami. It was delicious.
