名物女将は、乙女(龍馬の姉)をも彷彿とさせる女丈夫。従業員の親しみやすさも女将に劣らず。店の前には巨大な水槽がエアレーションされてて、材料はそこで泳いでいるらしい。建物の敷地面積は小さくて、3階の座敷にあがった。
高知だからカツオで接待されるのは予想していたが、マグロの細巻きがうまい、いろいろ盛り込んだ小鉢がうまい、カツオのたたきは当然うまい、名物の大きなエビフライは外はパリパリ中しっとり、そしてフグ! 高知で絶品のフグに出会えるとは知らなかった。
また野菜の滋味が違う。トマト、セロリ、キャベツ、東京で食べるものとは違っていた。高知の産品、おそるべし。
親戚に接待されたのであいにく金額がわからないが、おそらく東京などから言えばすごくリーズナブルだろう。庶民のA級グルメだ。
