高知に来たら土佐料理が食べたい、ということで、こちらのお店を予約しておいた。
はりまや橋から歩いて４分ほどで到着。
古い木造の2階座敷に通された。
おちょこや醤油類がセットされていて、瓶ビールやミネラルウオーター、ラムネなどは、自分で棚から取って、最後に確認してもらう仕組み。
予約の時、「あらかじめ何品か注文しておあてもらうと、お待たせせずに済む」と言われたので、鰹のたたきや、鯖寿司などは頼んでおいた。
この日頼んだのは、以下の品々。
・ウツボのてんぷら
・鰹のたたき(塩)
・酒盗
・赤牛のたたき
・川海老の天ぷら
・厚揚げのだしあげ
・砂ずり
・アオサの天ぷら
・鯖寿司(2カン)
・梅茶漬け
・泉州茄子の漬け物
お通しはどろめ。
お酒は瓶ビールと酔鯨の純米大吟醸酒を頼んだ。
鰹のたたきは、皮の部分に塩が振ってあり、ミカンの酢と大量のネギ、トマト、大葉、ミョウガ、ニンニクスライスとともに食べる。
ミカンの酢がさっぱりとして、ポン酢とは違ううまさが出ている。
鰹そのものが新鮮なのは言うまでもない。
厚揚げのだしがおいしい。
〆のお茶漬けの梅干しが自家製で、これまた旨かったのを含めて、おいしいもの尽くしの夜になった。
メニューにはどれも値段が書かれていないので、会計の時はおっかなびっくりだったが、1人7000円以内に収まった。
人数が多かったのも一因だろう。
