I stopped by here during a business trip to Kochi. I didn't have enough energy to go to Hirome Market, so I thought I'd try a restaurant close to the hotel, and so I dropped by this restaurant. Kochi is known for its seared bonito, but on the day I visited they were out of regular bonito so I had hagatsuo instead. Hagatsuo is a fish that turns white over time, so you can tell it's very fresh. The monkfish liver was delicious, and the tosa roll, which I didn't take a photo of, was also quite tasty. For those who like popular Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), the atmosphere may seem high-end, but I felt that this was a restaurant where you could get good quality food at a reasonable price.
