高知駅への到着が遅くなってしまったため外出を断念。
地元の方から、こちらのホテル内の居酒屋は美味しいですよと教えてもらっていたので、チェックインを済ませてすぐに1階のこちらのお店に来ました。
高知といえばカツオの藁焼きタタキですよね。
しっかりメニューに載ってます。
こちらは箱に入った状態で配膳され、蓋を開けると煙とともに藁焼きの香りが広がります。いい感じで盛り上がります。
店員さんから、厚切りのものは塩で、薄切りのものはポン酢でお召し上がりくださいと説明されたので、その通りにいただきます。美味しいです。
特に、塩でいただくと、藁焼きの薫りがはっきりとわかり、とてもいいです。もともと新鮮で、臭みなどは全くありませんが、この藁焼きタタキは薫りが加わることで、さらに美味しく感じられます。
ウツボの天ぷら、ごぼうのカリカリ揚げと肉味噌の載ったサラダなど、どれも美味しくいただきました。
鶏肉にしようか、豚も美味しそうだな…などと迷ったら、肉の三種盛りがお勧めです。いろいろ楽しめて、美味しかったです。
同僚らと男三人で、お腹いっぱい食べられました。
個室というわけではありませんが、暖簾で仕切られていて、楽しく歓談しながら、寛げました。
