In recent years, the distribution of horse meat from overseas has been increasing both in and outside of Kumamoto Prefecture, but this is a horse meat specialty store that continues to focus on delicious domestically raised horse meat. We offer a wide variety of menu items, including not only horse sashimi, but also yakiniku, shabu-shabu, steak, sushi, and Kumamoto local cuisine. We also have a wide variety of shochu and sake produced in Kumamoto Prefecture. We are used for various important occasions, such as for individuals, groups, families with children, entertaining business partners, and anniversary dates. Located in the center of Kumamoto's downtown area, it is easily accessible. The Umazakura Group's Izakaya Kan, which offers Umazakura quality horse sashimi, horse meat creative dishes, and authentic Chinese cuisine, is also open and lively, just a one-minute walk from the Umazakura Shimo-dori store. 3階の半個室に通して頂きました。
バーのような、落ち着いた雰囲気の
お店で熊本の馬肉料理をいただきます。
馬刺しや馬肉料理は好きなのですが、
初めて「ヒモ」と呼ばれる部位を熊本で
頂きました。とても美味しい。
肋の間のお肉だそうです。
充分なかみごたえで、肉の良い野生感が
あります。牛肉で言うとロースでもカルビでも
ないハラミ的な味わいに近いと感じます。
この馬ヒモの串焼きが美味しかったので、
ヒモの握り寿司も〆として追加で注文しました。
勿論、馬刺しも新鮮で美味しく。
さすが熊本だなぁ〜と感心いたします。
お酒は、せっかくなので球磨焼酎を頂きます。
米の焼酎は鳥飼ぐらいしか飲んだことなかった
のですが、酒の説明を読みながら何種類か
飲みます。大石というお酒が好みでした。
熊本で買って帰ろうと思います。
いつも馬肉を食べるというと、居酒屋風な
ところが、多かったのですが、馬桜さんは
デートに使えるようなおしゃれな馬肉専門店で
しかもしっかり美味しかった。熊本さすがです。
