この日は熊本飲み歩き。
観光客向けのお店は興味がないので地元の方に連れて行ってもらったのは飲み屋街辛島町の「相撲寿司大砲部屋」さん。
熊本市内に3店舗展開されている大衆寿司グループ。
コの字型のカウンターの中の厨房では、4人の職人さんが手際よくお寿司を握っていきます。
それにしても内装が渋い。
コレぞ大衆寿司なのよ。
ずらりと並ぶキープボトルの数も人気のバロメータですね。
しかもお寿司が安い！
相撲寿司という店名にちなんだ5つの価格設定。ネーミングもお値段も素敵。

生の鯖が食べられるのは九州って感じ。
脂が乗ってしっかり甘い。
胡麻とネギで香りよく調和。
どれ食べてもうまいしコスパ抜群の大衆寿司。
日本酒も飲みたかったし一品料理も食べたくて後ろ髪引かれがちですが、まだ行きたいお店があったのでお会計。
また来たい！
