We recommend traveling by car or taxi. If traveling by public transport: Route 1 (for Tuesdays and Fridays) From Kumamoto Station, Kumamoto City Hall, Kumamoto Sakuramachi Bus Terminal, or Tamana Station (Shin-Tamana Station), board the bus bound for Yamaga Bus Center (Yamaga Onsen) → Get off at Yamaga Bus Center (Tamana 830, Kumamoto city 950) → Board the shared taxi "Kahoku Takenko-go" that you have reserved the day before between 3pm and 7pm → Go directly to the shop (Yamaga city → Kahoku area 600 yen) *You do not have to be a Yamaga resident to use the shared taxi, but a reservation must be made the day before between 3pm and 7pm. There are only about 4 departures per day, so check early. *Shared taxis operate from Yamaga city to Kahoku area only on Tuesdays and Fridays. Route 2 (Monday to Saturday) From Kumamoto Station, Kumamoto City Hall, Kumamoto Sakuramachi Bus Terminal, or Tamana Station (Shin-Tamana Station), board the bus bound for Yamaga Bus Center (Yamaga Onsen) → Get off at Yamaga Bus Center (Tamana 830, Kumamoto city 950) → From Yamaga Bus Center, take the Sanko Bus Yamaga Kahoku Line → Get off at Kahoku Rest stop (19 stations, 540 yen) → Board Rest stop Takenko shared taxi reserved the day before between 3pm and 7pm from Kahoku Roadside Station → Go directly to the shop (200 yen within the Kahoku area) *You don't have to be a Yamaga resident to use the shared taxi, but reservations must be made the day before between 3pm and 7pm. We stopped serving sashimi on March 29, 2021. We resumed business from around 12:00 on April 29, 2016 (National Holiday). We resumed normal business from April 30, 2016. (There was no direct damage to restaurant due to the earthquake.) *There are no problems with access to the roads from Yame IC and Ueki IC to the store. Reservations are not accepted on Sundays or holidays. They are possible on weekdays. Please note that there is no estimated waiting time. |
