Today I visited Motsuzaru Kyoto Ekimae branch, a popular bar located in Higashishiokojicho, Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto City. It's cold today so hot pot. I had made a reservation, but it was a cold day as predicted. This is a [b: Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot)] restaurant with a jungle-like interior. All tables are equipped with sour servers. For now, we will decide on a plan with all-you-can-drink and the food after visiting. To order, use [b:QR code]. You can choose from 4 types of soup for Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot). When you think of Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot), you probably mean soy sauce, but we don't have the concept of soy sauce or saltiness...just like Ramen, the hot pot tastes like miso. The appetizer is the restaurant's famous offal stew. I ordered fried horse meat yukhoe and garlic as an accompaniment to my alcoholic beverage, Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot) with white miso, and mentaiko with additional toppings. The soup is sweet white miso, and the offal is plump. It melts in the mouth. Gyoza / Dumpling with additional ingredients, and Champon noodles to finish. We had delicious.
