Manzaratei Nishiki is located one block away from the main street of Nishiki, Kyoto's kitchen. The interior of the restaurant, which was remodeled from a 100-year-old Kyoto townhouse, is filled with e |
I was invited to a dinner party in the Karasuma area and joined in. It's located just north of Karasuma, turning west on Nishiki-koji Street. Manzaratei Nishiki. When you go into the back of the restaurant, you'll find yourself in another world. The interior is a tasteful old Kyoto building. The staff are truly worldly, and you can really feel the current state of Kyoto. The young man looks cute and has a sense of effort in studying Japanese. The appetizer was an assortment of five kinds of side dishes, with cheese on the gluten, which was so unique it was interesting. Then there was sashimi, grilled Spanish mackerel, bamboo shoots and wakame soup, duck, firefly squid and udo vinegar, Tempura, mackerel Sushi, and of course dessert.
