Now that I'm in my 5th month of pregnancy, I need to start enjoying adult time and delicious food! So, a bullet trip to Kyoto In the evening, I checked into a hotel along the Kamogawa River and made a reservation at a nice restaurant. I'm still feeling a little bit morning sickness and have a hard time eating meat and vegetables, so I thought maybe I could try some Italian Cuisine food. The price was relatively reasonable and I didn't want to get really expensive meat, so I decided to make a reservation. The restaurant is located in an alley across from a church, and the atmosphere is Japanese-style, with the feel of a Sushi or Japanese Cuisine. I feel like I've come to Sushi that doesn't come around. There are many staff members who provide attentive service such as leaving your jacket for you and providing storage for your luggage. The head chef also greeted us first. When making the reservation, I told her that I was pregnant and would like to avoid raw foods, alcohol, and caffeine as much as possible. Cooking. The appetizer is chawanmushi with abalone! This is delicious! The citrus bubbles give it a sour taste, and the abalone liver sauce on the inside is so beautiful that you might think it resembles the pattern on the bowl, and it's delicious. I like appetizers the most in course meals, and I usually love raw fish, but warm appetizers are also great. Delicious. . . ❤️ There are 3 appetizers in total. The second dish is grilled yellowtail (I often grill it) and the radish mochi on top is delicious! What is this? The citrus juice at the end is refreshing. The third item is crab. The crab miso sauce and the roe were covered in plenty, making it a luxury. . . It's sprinkled with roasted capers, which is also delicious. . The fourth item is a pot steamed pot for one person. Matsutake mushrooms and hoa gras are included luxuriously, and the soup stock is also the best! ! I ended up eating it all the time, with free refills of bread. Pasta is Kujo green onion and Shirako. The thing on top seems to be fried green onion roots. Delicious. . The main dish was Satsuma beef (I often grill it) and sautéed mushrooms. The Anna sweet potato puree was on the bottom and it was delicious. As expected, I only had one piece of meat, so I asked my husband to eat it. Ah, the morning sickness came quickly. . The final part of the meal is risotto. Porcini and chestnut risotto. The amount seems to be normal, and you can choose more or less. The photo is normal. As you would expect from a course meal, it was a palate cleanser, and at the end we had bancha tea and sweets, and the course left us very satisfied. However, one thing that bothered me for a long time was that there was a regular customer who seemed to have made a reservation for the same time about 5 minutes later, and the timing of the food being served and the explanation of the food were the same, so I somehow felt like I was sitting next to him. I kept eating while thinking that I had to eat at the same pace. I didn't actually eat at an unreasonable pace, and I guess it's my fault for worrying about that, but there weren't any empty seats and I was right next to me, and I could hear the conversation next to me as I was being served the same food. Since it was a counter, it would have been nice to be able to enjoy that part, but personally I was disappointed that I didn't feel like I was enjoying time with my husband and wife. There was a group of three people who had arrived maybe 30 minutes or an hour earlier, so I was thinking to myself that it would have been nice if they could have sat in between them or opened up their seats for a moment. It's my fault for being an introvert. Moreover, it was my first time here, and the person next door had been coming here for years, and at the end, the staff member told me that if I followed her on Instagram, she would be able to add one canelé to the service. I can't do it because I haven't, and my neighbor has already followed it, so canelé comes out. . For some reason, I felt a bit of a pinch of salt. He was a really nice person though. The neighbor. The timing for paying the bill was almost the same, so I waited for the other side to finish. . At the end, the master came out, seemed friendly, and asked how many months old he had been. We had a fun chat about whether it was a boy or a girl. I guess this is also part of the service. The food was delicious, and the fact that I was able to eat casually without having to put too much effort into it made me feel comfortable. Thank you for the meal.
