(This is a post from my blog) Today, I had lunch at a Japanese-style Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) in Shijo. ■ Seafood Jidori Aoi This seems to be a creative Japanese-style meal restaurant that uses fresh fish and local chicken from all over the country. A little while after they opened, they started serving lunch, so I went there. This is a Japanese-style Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) with a vertical interior and a nice atmosphere. I was served by a staff member who seemed to be very polite. Lunch mainly consists of the daily special ``Today's Pasta'' and ``Aoi Set Meal.'' In Other, there was a set meal that was a good value for 890 yen. All lunches seem to come with a soft drink. You can choose from 9 types. It's also great for relaxing after a meal! ●Chicken Nanban Tartar Set Meal This set meal includes the main chicken nanban, rice, mini salad, chicken stock soup, Small dish, and soft drink. First, take a gulp from the soup. Since this is a local chicken restaurant, they seem to be particular about the soup. The rich chicken stock soup is delicious! Chicken Nanban was topped with plenty of tartar sauce. Freshly fried chicken breast mixed with tartar sauce. This tartar sauce had a crunchy texture that I really liked (^-^) Small dish was dashi rolls and charcoal-grilled local chicken. The chicken had a unique aroma reminiscent of being grilled over charcoal, and it was also delicious. The dashimaki has a soft texture. The quality of each item is high. What's more, it even comes with a drink for 890 yen, which is surprising. I feel like I found a nice lunch restaurant (^-^)
