After many years of training as a chef sommelier at the long-established Grand Maison and Kyoto Hotel Okura, he is currently a director of the Japan Sommelier Association. He was the first sommelier in Kyoto Prefecture to receive the 2015 Heikyoto Prefecture Excellent Craftsman Award (Kyoto Prefecture's Modern Master Craftsman). Based on nearly 40 years of experience, we have achieved great achievements in the hospitality and food and beverage industry through the expertise and service skills of advanced sommeliers [drinking...wine and sake from Kyoto, food...Japanese Japanese-style meal, a world cultural heritage]. I was recognized and received the award.

More than 10 types of recommended glass wines are available every day, including Champagne, sparkling, red, and white. There are about 200 bottles available at any given time. We offer a wide range of wines, including French wines, New World wines, bio wines, and Japanese wines that go well with Japanese-style meal. Please feel free to ask us about wines you would like to try or selections that go well with your meal.

At our counter seats on the first floor, you can enjoy your meal while chatting with the owner sommelier and chef. With a calm bar-like atmosphere, it is a space where you can relax and enjoy yourself, as well as with your loved ones. There are 12 table seats on the second floor (3 tables for 4 people). The sofa-type seats have high ceilings and an open feel, allowing you to relax and enjoy your wine and meal. Please enjoy the food and wine pairing.
