When I was in Kyoto, the plum garden at Kitano Tenmangu Shrine was lit up. In the past, when I came to Kyoto, I would be eager to wander around at night to see the illuminations during the autumn leaves season, but I have been to quite a few famous temples that are lit up only during the autumn leaves season. , it doesn't feel as fresh anymore. At first, I didn't find the illumination of the plum garden at Kitano Tenmangu Shrine very appealing, but about a week before I went out, I happened to see last year's illumination on ``Old Aoi Tori SNS'' and found that it was very nice. . I totally wanted to go there. Actually, I had made a reservation at another restaurant for 6 o'clock, but there was no way I could go there at 6 o'clock on the same day as Kitano Tenmangu's illumination. Basically, you have to reserve a place for dinner, so it is impossible to move it to another day. I'm sorry, but it was a week ago, so I thought it was acceptable, so I canceled and looked for another store. So, I was able to make a reservation at "Agri". This was also a candidate I wanted to go to, so I had sent a BM and was able to make a reservation for Friday at 8pm. thank you. I had read the reviews on Tabelog and knew this beforehand, but this restaurant mainly serves Pork Dishes, and I just told the chef what I wanted and asked him to make it for me. It looks delicious and kind of interesting. This way of ordering allows you to enjoy your meal at a restaurant, which makes you feel a little more ``adult''. Since I was young, I've longed for such things, but I was too timid to take on the challenge, so I ended up not only being ``a bit of an adult'' but ``a pretty old adult.'' Even as an adult, I still get nervous, but it was already difficult to make reservations for other restaurants I wanted to go to, so I decided to go here. I still feel a little nervous. To begin with, I'm a timid woman, and I'm a woman who can't convey my requests in an appropriate manner. By the way, when this becomes his job, he seems to change suddenly, and someone once said to him, ``You have the personality of someone who splits bamboo.'' When I went to my reservation time, there was a group of 2 people ahead of me. The inside of the store is small with only a counter. The ingredients are listed on the board, but you roughly select the ingredients from there, and the final decision is made by talking to the chef. I forget the details of the conversation, but they said, ``I want to eat vegetables,'' ``I want vegetables to be warm,'' and ``I want to eat yellowtail.'' Of course, I ordered the ``warm vegetables'' because I had been waiting for the illumination of Kitano Tenmangu Shrine and it was cold. No cold salad options here. Also, since this restaurant mainly serves Pork Dishes, I think it was something like ``recommended pork.'' I also ordered cheese and bread. The yellowtail was made into carpaccio, and each piece of pork came out as a dish like the one in the photo. The one in the Le Creuset pot tastes like pot-au-feu. The vegetables and pork were stewed, and the soup was very delicious. For drinks, my mother had 2 Hanalei beers and 1 glass of red wine, and I had plum wine mixed with hot water, 1 glass of white wine, and 1 glass of red wine. As the cooking is up to you, prices are not listed. It didn't mention anything about drinks, so I was a little scared to see how much it would cost, but after drinking and eating so much, the total cost was ¥14,730 (tax included). Since it's a made-to-order dish, I don't know the standards in terms of cost performance, but I think it's not bad. Both I and my mother were satisfied, but I guess you should be a regular at a restaurant like this, rather than a tourist, and get to know the chef, and go there often with casual questions like, ``What kind of food are we having today?'' By the way, the chef said, ``We don't have a lot of Kyoto vegetables,'' so if you're particularly interested in eating Kyoto vegetables, you'll probably have to choose a different option. However, if you don't care about that and just want to enjoy delicious and warm food in a leisurely manner, I think it's recommended even for travelers.
