モーニングの時間帯に訪問。昭和レトロ感が素晴らしい三条商店街にある、レトロ感溢れるカフェ。さて、しかしインテリアが洗練されるとはいえず、オシャレ感はない。そこらへんも昭和風か。BLTのオーブンサンドと珈琲を注文する。合わせて1060円。BLTは普通のマヨネージ味で極めて凡庸。ハムのようなベーコンが入っている。食べるのが難しいのだが、紙ナプキンがないのですごく不便。まあ、こういうのは京都のカフェだけの問題ではない気もするが、なんで紙ナプキンでなくて、おしぼりを出すんだろう。おしぼりでマヨネーズがついた口を拭くのは怖ろしく抵抗がある。まあ、ティッシュを持ち歩け！ということだろうか。あと期待していた珈琲も機械でつくるものであり、とりたて美味しくもない。サービスも平均以下みたいな感じで、なんで食べログでこの評価なのかが分からない。というか、京都の喫茶店はすごいいいな、と思うところもあるが、なんでこんなところが人気があるのか分からなかったりするところも多い。このお店もそんな感じである。
