This is a long-established restaurant in an area close to maiko geisha houses, and you can see chefs from here. Japanese-style meal has changed a lot, and it's common for more than half of the customers to be foreign tourists these days, so is this a problem for foreigners? In fact, you can see a lot of Japanese and Western fusion dishes. The atmosphere and food here are purely Japanese, and some people may find them outdated. The broth and saltiness are just right, and the world view and expression are relatively easy to understand. There is also a playful touch, such as adding gold leaf to Aodake's sake. I was able to have a good conversation with the chef, so I had a good time.
