四条木屋町を下がって行った鴨川を一望できる絶好の立地条件にこのお店はあります。
玄関をくぐった所から雰囲気は非常にいいですが、接客、味は標準値ギリギリかそれ以下。
こちらが呼ばないと気づかない、出てこない。
パイナップルの炒飯等は見た目はかなり豪快で期待もしたのですが、火の通り方にバラつきがあり、かなりベチャベチャでした。
極めつけは電子レンジでチーンという音と共に出来上がってきた前菜。
これでディナーはサービス料１０％チャージっていうのはないなぁ。
もちろんトムヤムクンやグリーンカレーのように普通に美味しくいただけた物も多数ありましたよ。
まぁ、雰囲気重視（誰某がデザインした、プロデュースは何某、こんな方々もこられた等など・・・）の本質以外で楽しまれるなら、行かれるのも一興かもしれませんが。
ここは京都で始めて本格的なタイ料理をはじめられたと何かの雑誌で見たことがありますが、多分当時はもの珍しさ、立地条件からも大変繁盛されていたことでしょう。
ですが今は時も流れ、京都にももっと安くて美味しいタイ料理屋がちらほらと出てきております。
当時の栄光の上に胡坐をかいておられる場合ではないと思うのですが。
今一度初心に帰られる事を切に願います。
