Our chicken dishes have been loved for many years, preserving the techniques and flavors inherited from our predecessors. We are particularly proud of our ``mizudaki'' made with ``specially selected Kyoto Tamba chicken'' that is caught fresh in the morning. The soup, which is carefully prepared over a day, utilizes the famous Higashiyama water that gushes out from within the premises. It is a masterpiece that is lighter than it looks, yet has a rich richness and concentrated flavor. Enjoy it with our signature homemade ponzu sauce, which is rich in flavor.

Our restaurant is located in the atmospheric Gion district of Kyoto. Its unique design, known as the "eel's bed" with a narrow window and deep depth, gives it a good old space with a sense of history. The restaurant seats 50 in total, and includes a counter, fully private tatami room, and tables. We can accommodate a variety of numbers of people, from small groups to a maximum of 40 people. It is perfect for a variety of occasions, from family get-togethers, business entertainment, and meals while sightseeing. Please feel free to use it for large banquets and celebrations.

Our store boasts a long history of 70 years. Our predecessor Kunio Kishizawa opened the restaurant in 1955 as a `` Hot Pot restaurant'' in Kawaramachi Takoyakushi. Since then, we have moved to our current location in Gion Nawate Shinbashi, and since then we have been patronized by everyone as a ``white chicken soup Hot Pot specialty store''. While valuing the inherited taste, we have always been conscious of the sensibilities of the times. We strive to deliver the "proud taste" that we spare no effort in every day.

The ``special selection Sukiyaki'' packed with the flavor of the ingredients is also a must-try. We use the same "specially selected Kyoto Tamba chicken" that we also use for Hot Pot, and it goes great with alcohol. We have a variety of famous sake such as ``Koto'' and ``Jurakudai'' from Kyoto's Sasaki Sake Brewery, so please enjoy them with us. For the special Sukiyaki course, you can enjoy stewed liver and salt-grilled thighs, and you can also order additional items such as vegetables and eggs separately, so please feel free to ask.
