祇園にしかわへ初訪問。
こちらの西川大将は、京都の名店「祇園 さゝ木」や「わらびの里」などで修行後、独立開業。
入り口から長い石畳の素敵なアプローチを抜けてると、竹や檜をふんだんに使った豪華な数寄屋造りで、とにかく設えが凄い。聞くと、京都の名店「未在」を手掛けた建築家がリニューアルを行ったそう。
「祇園 さゝ木」で修行した大将と、「未在」クラスの設え。
どちらもミシュラン三つ星。武装に武装を重ねております。笑
さて、お料理ですが、キャビアや鮪の握りなど、ところどころに「祇園 さゝ木」を彷彿とする型に捉われない自由な日本料理。
全体的に少し味付けが濃い目なので、そこの部分は好みが分かれるかもしれませんが、どれも美味しく頂きました。
西川大将の親父ギャグ？も聞きながら楽しい時間を過ごす事ができ大満足。
