The opening day |
2017.11.1 |
This time, I had no plans to go to Kyoto except for Mr. Iida. While strolling around the Gion area from Shimizu-zaka, a sign in front of this shop suddenly caught my eye. It seems that the price is much more reasonable than the usual lunch price. Hamburg course was priced at 2,200 yen, so I stopped by to try it. Since it is located on the south side of Gion, the interior of the store has a very calm atmosphere. The long counter seats are covered with polished iron plates. Since it was a weekday, there were no other customers. I was a little nervous because of the atmosphere, but both the woman in charge of the floor and the chef who cooked the food were very kind and spoke to me, so my nerves gradually eased. When I looked at the menu, I noticed that a Kobe beef Steak (100g) course was also available for 3,500 yen. I decided to ask you to do it at this time. Also, the last meal was an additional 800 yen. You can change to the special garlic rice. I asked for that too. As for drinks, I couldn't get alcohol, so I asked for ginger ale (I think it was around 500 yen). First, the vegetables are grilled right in front of you. While it was baking, ginger ale and salad were brought out ^^ Crunchy fresh vegetables with a thick dressing. There was a carrot cut into the shape of a cow in the middle. While I was eating it, the sweet potato, pumpkin, zucchini, paprika, and konjac were baked. You can add salt or matcha salt to your taste ^^ The main Kobe beef is here. It's fun to watch the skillful baking process. It was cooked medium and served on a plate. First, put some wasabi on top and serve with salt. Very soft and juicy ♫ It's made into bite-sized pieces, so it's nice to be able to get a little bit of matcha salt and soy sauce ^^ However... I think this may be due to age, but the meat gradually gets eaten towards the end. The fat was getting heavy ^^; Maybe Hamburg was more suitable for me because of my initial intention. The garlic rice I ordered as a finishing touch was delicious with egg mixed in, but I felt it would have been better for me to have it as white rice and have it with the meat. Thank you for the meal!
