Yakiniku Narita-ya is located on the west bank of the Kamo River in Kyoto. The second-generation owner took over the will of his predecessor and renovated the restaurant with the support of many assoc |
I took home Bento (boxed lunch). I thought it was spring, but now it's summer in Kyoto, and they packed it fresh and included an ice pack. However, since it was a piping hot Bento (boxed lunch), it may not have been very effective... Bento (boxed lunch) box was still slightly warm. When I opened it, I saw the generous amount of thinly sliced grilled meat and Kujo leeks. Then the aroma of grilling over charcoal spread. The meat was well-cooked, yet soft, but still weak. Maybe soft is the wrong word to use, as it didn't require much effort to chew. The rice was on the soft side, and the flavor came out well when I mixed it with the meat. I munched on some pickled vegetables and ate a bowl of Yakiniku (Grilled meat) rice. I wanted some soup, but I ended up eating it at the restaurant instead of taking Bento (boxed lunch).
