Others pot bath
Kamaburo is a humid Japanese-style sauna with a temperature of around 60 degrees Celsius. The inside is lined with straw mats, and if you go inside with a ceramic pillow and lie down quietly, your body will slowly warm up and you will start sweating naturally. After warming up your body in the kamaburo, you can wash off your sweat in the adjacent bathtub. How about before your meal? 1,000 yen (excluding tax) per person, including bath towel and towel rental. Reservation required.
Food Barley rice grated yam soup
Once upon a time, travelers traveling along the Sabakaido Road would stop at this teahouse, one mile from the capital, to retie their straw sandals and eat ``barley grated yam'' before starting their journey. The yam soup, which contains nutritious barley and digestive enzymes, was easy to eat and ready for the journey. Our yam soup has been a specialty since our founding, made by carefully grating Tsukuneimo from Tanba and making it with the first soup stock made from bonito flakes and kelp. Please enjoy the fine and pure white yam soup.
SpaceKigyu gate and garden
Kigyumon is a gate facing the street. Customers will enter through this gate. The gate was originally located at a Zen temple in Hagi, but by chance it was relocated to our store in the Showa era. The gate is said to be 400 to 500 years old, and the zelkova on the vertical pillars and the pine on the horizontal pillars tell of its time. As you pass through the Kigyu Gate, you will find a garden of approximately 2,000 square meters, with seasonal flowers blooming and a stream flowing through it. Please take a look at the garden and enter the tatami room.

It is located in a scenic spot in Rakuhoku, Kyoto, overlooking Mt. Hiei to the east and the Takano River to the west. It was founded as a roadside teahouse on Wakasa Kaido (currently Kawabata Street)
...during the Tensho and Azuchi-Momoyama eras. If you pass through the Cow Gate facing the street and proceed inside through the stone pavement, you will be greeted by a strolling garden. In the approximately 2,000 square meter garden, seasonal flowers bloom every season, and there are large and small tatami mats scattered along the garden. We hope you enjoy your meal while looking out at the surface of the Takano River.
