Oh, the sauce is delicious!
I went to this restaurant for the first time in a while. It's been a long time since I last visited this restaurant. My son and daughter-in-law and their husbands said that they wanted to go for Yakiniku (Grilled meat), so we started looking for somewhere and remembered this place. It's close to home and pretty cheap, so we went here with my son and wife for the first time in a while to check it out. It was a Saturday night, so we thought it would be full, so we decided to go early and arrived around 6 o'clock. The parking lot was about 50%, so we thought we could go, and jumped in. When we entered the restaurant, the non-smoking seats were full with reservations and other customers, but the smoking seats on the second floor were available, so we reluctantly went to the smoking seats. There were about 5 tables in the same room, and the previous customers were families who were not smoking, and the customers who came in after us did not smoke either, so we were a little relieved. More and more restaurants are completely banning smoking, so I think it would be good to increase the number of non-smoking seats. Well, I had seen it on the internet beforehand, and there was a family set for 3,980 yen (tax not included), which was perfect for a party of three, so I decided on that and ordered it, since it was just a preview for the real thing. If it wasn't enough, I could just add more later... Family set contents Large platter Thick-sliced kalbi, skirt steak, loin, Sangen chestnut pork (about 320g), 1 serving of Cow tongue tongue, 1 serving of Sakai choregi salad, salted cabbage, 3 Korean seaweed, 3 medium servings of rice. All the meat was normal. I think it was imported, but it tasted good. However, it didn't have much of an odor... But this wasn't enough meat, so I ordered additional kalbi for 590 yen (tax not included), skirt steak for 590 yen (tax not included), and flavorful bara kalbi for 390 yen (tax not included). The kalbi was a little fatty, but I think it was the most delicious of the Oniku dishes. The skirt steak did have a bit of an odor, so... To be honest, the bara kalbi was worth the price. There were two types of sauce, a matured sauce and a light sauce, which I quite liked. Of all the sauces I've eaten at Yakiniku (Grilled meat) recently, this was the most reliable, and just the right taste. It's also rare that both are delicious. They have grated garlic and spicy yannin on the table, so when I added them to the matured sauce, it tasted like an old-fashioned Yakiniku (Grilled meat) restaurant, and it was a rich and delicious sauce with a bit of nostalgia. The salad also had a nice refreshing taste with sesame oil. I think Cow tongue was good for a restaurant in this price range. So, in my memory, the sauce was a bit too salty, but now it has changed to a just right sauce, and the price is cheap, so I think it's quite usable. When I went down to pay, there seemed to be about eight groups waiting, but I was able to get in without having to wait by a hair's breadth. It's a very popular restaurant. The appeal is that it's cheap. I think this might be the place to go for dinner parties... 3.2

Last time, I visited this place, which is reasonably priced, with my son and daughter-in-law and their wives. We get together quite regularly to eat, but this may be the most fun time of the day. This time, we started with two sets of the family set for 3,980 yen (excluding tax), three servings Cow tongue for 790 yen (excluding tax), and two servings of Chinese cabbage kimchi for 390 yen (excluding tax). It's unusual for this family, but I'm the only one who can drink alcohol, so I decided not to drink alone. The family set is for three people, and comes with two slices each of Cow tongue, loin, skirt steak, thick-cut short ribs, and pork belly, as well as choregi salad, addictive cabbage, three servings of medium-sized rice, and three pieces of Korean seaweed, making it the easiest thing to order. Cow tongue was quite delicious last time, so we added three servings of Cow tongue to it. I'm happy that there are two types of sauce: aged sauce and light sauce. Also, what I thought after eating this time was that I really liked the taste of the aged sauce, it was a little sweet, but the golden triangle of this sauce, meat, and white rice was more delicious than anything else. The meat itself seems to be US beef, but it had no smell and was quite good. I just can't stop eating Yakiniku (Grilled meat) and white rice. The choregi salad was also delicious with sesame oil, and the addictive cabbage was slightly garlicky with salt and sesame oil. After that, we added two servings of skirt steak for 590 yen (tax not included) and two servings of kalbi for 590 yen + one serving, and that was the end of the meat. We also ate rice, but to finish off the meal, we ordered one special Cold Noodles for 690 yen (tax not included) and two special Cold Noodles half bowls for 490 yen (tax not included), which each couple shared. Cold Noodles were topped with boiled eggs, chicken char siu, Chinese cabbage kimchi, cucumber and radish sprouts. The chewy and smooth noodles, with a touch of vinegar, make a very refreshing final dish, and are quite delicious. So, it's great that they have sets that are perfect for large groups, especially for groups that are multiples of three. Also, just like last time, you get a 10% discount coupon that you can use on your next purchase (for a limited time only) when you pay, which is appealing. (The total bill this time was about 15,000 yen.) And, I think this sauce is my favorite... 3.2
