京都七条、三十三間堂から京阪七条駅に向かう七条通の南側に、小さなパン屋さんを見つけました。「井上製パン」さんです。ちょっと気になり入ってみました。
夕方の訪問だったので、パンの種類は少なく残念だったのですが、その代わり「フィナンシェ」など焼き菓子系は結構ありました。それでも、パンが欲しくて、なんとか「クルミパン」と「ミルクフランス」を入手。購入しました。
このパンが想像以上に美味しくて、しかも安い。ハード系のパンですが、小麦の甘味が感じられるパン生地。「クルミパン」は、カリッとしたクルミの実が良いアクセント。クルミの油分も感じられこれもほんのり甘い。「ミルクフランス」は一番人気のパンのようで、歯ごたえのあるフランスパンにミルク餡が挟んでいて、ほんのり甘く、優しい味。
駅からも近く、また寄りたいですね。
