昭和３０年代初めにヒロヤは、上京区御所の西、平安女学院前で誕生しました。昭和３３年１月７日有限会社ヒロヤ製菓設立、その後工場は、医師会前（現智恵光院丸太町）上るに拡張移転。昭和３９年５月１２日株式会社ヒロヤコンフェクションを設立し、工場を太秦に移転し現在に至っております。
