I was looking for a restaurant in Kyoto that is open on New Year's Eve to make a reservation. There were several good restaurants, but I was really interested in this one, so I made a reservation. I have never been to Kuramaguchi Station, and when I got off the station, it was quiet, unlike the lively atmosphere of Shijo. The store is located close to the station (1-2 minutes), and is easily recognized by the owner and a part-time worker. The store has a very clean feel, and for some reason they only play Brazilian music (lol), but it's a calming selection of music that makes it feel comfortable. There are 11 dishes including fresh seafood, oden, Tempura, steamed dishes, and Wagyu Steak. All of them were delicious, and I was especially impressed with the ``turnip mushi.'' The rubbed turnips and dashi soup are the best♡ Tempura is also served in two portions, so you can enjoy it piping hot. Toward the end of the meal, a beautiful Kyoto madam who lived in the neighborhood came by herself. At the end, we joined in the conversation with the shop owner (lol). She had such beautiful skin and hair, and I asked her how old she was, and wow! He is 81 years old! ! Too wonderful! ! The secret is not to overdo it. It was New Year's Eve that I thought I wouldn't be like Madame (lol). The owner of the restaurant is also very nice (the part-time worker is cute, so please smile a little more), the food is delicious, and the restaurant is calm. Very good.
