It's already time to finish work. However, I would feel lonely even if I went home without drinking or eating, so I got off at Kitaoji subway station and arrived here within a few minutes. This was my first visit, and it's an Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) on the second floor of a building that specializes in fresh fish and oden. Since it was before 24:00 on a weekday, there were only a few customers ahead of us. I arrived at the end of the counter and started with a beer. Let's have some oden and some sashimi. The oden is slowly simmered, but it's nothing special. I was told that the sashimi was made fresh rather than frozen, which was certainly good. I added some fried eggplant soup and some alcohol and headed home. There are few shops in this area, and the fact that it's open until late at night makes it worthwhile. It's close to the station, so I think I'll stop by again.
