October 18, 2023 (Wednesday) around 12:15 pm On this weekday day, four of my colleagues who had met for the first time at work went to "Foods bar Shiori-ya" for lunch. When I entered the store, the clerk said, ``You'll have to wait for a while today, but is your time okay?'' Well, if we had to wait for about 15 or 20 minutes, the four of us decided to go inside and decided that we could go home during our lunch break. We were shown to our seats and looked at the lunch menu. There were 5 types of lunch. I chose: ・Toritara Mabo Gozen 1,500 yen (tax included) This Gozen also comes with a dessert and a drink. Also, you can get free refills of rice and red soup stock. After ordering, we had to wait for about 25 minutes before the food was finally served.I had heard from the beginning that it would take a long time, but the delay was longer than I expected...(;^_^A ・Tori Kara Mabo...Fried chicken with soy sauce base To be honest, there is no "Mabo" flavor at all. It would have been better to eat the fried chicken as it is... -Tempura platter... smelt, shishito, sweet potato, and eggplant. Crisply fried. The smelt was delicious without any odor. ・2 Small dish and salad...Sweet potato and carrot stew, shishito kinpira, both had elegant flavors and were delicious ♪ The salad was average. ・Red soup... The soup had a Kyoto-like feel to it, with raw gluten floating on top. ・Rice...the rice was fluffy and soft♪ ・Dessert and drinks after the meal...There were 3 types of dessert: sherbet, bracken mochi, and chocolate cake. It was a decent amount.I chose coffee, and it was delicious and aromatic.♡ The atmosphere inside the shop is nice and calm, and normally I would be able to relax, but on this day, the time delay got in the way. It's a shame... Also, the main dish, "Tori Kara Mabo", was disappointing, but all the other dishes were delicious♪ Thank you for the meal ♡♡♡♡
