PR for restaurants |
The restaurant has been in business for over 50 years in the historical town of Fushimi. Both the first and second generation owners were selected as master craftsmen in Kyoto Prefecture.
Using fresh fish such as sea bream from Setouchi, mackerel from Wakasa, and tuna from nearby waters, and seasonal Kyoto vegetables, this restaurant has the motto of sincere hospitality and serves sush |
It's a restaurant that's been around for a long time, but I passed it up because it looked expensive. However, according to a review by MyReview, the lunch prices are affordable... Unfortunately, it's closed on Wednesdays when I pass by here, but on Friday I got a chance! Finally, I visited. I was intimidated by the sense of luxury that already wafted from the entrance, but I entered the restaurant. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is intimidating for poor people. They only serve set menus for lunch. They also offer a free red miso soup for lunch on weekdays. I ordered a large assortment (1,700 yen). There is a sliding door at the back of the counter, which opens to the size of a serving opening. I was the only customer, but it took nearly 15 minutes because they were still in the middle of preparing. So a Sushi bucket was handed to me through the opening of the sliding door. The staff even poured in soy sauce. Two slices each of tuna, halfbeak, mackerel, shrimp, and conger eel sushi, as well as tuna rolls and cucumber rolls. All the ingredients were good, and the sushi was soft. I'm not good at using chopsticks, so the rice fell apart, so I ate it with my hands. The thin rolls were magnificent. The red miso soup was served in a bowl shaped like a mari. The elegance of the red miso soup is what makes it Kyoto cuisine. I think it's often used for special occasions, including delivery. I was out of place in many ways...
