Visited at 12:20 on 2/3/2024. This "MAGURO GARAGE" is a tuna bowl specialty restaurant located in Fushimi Ward, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture. As of today, Tabelog rating is 3.45 stars. I finished my morning work at a nearby workplace and went to lunch. When I searched Tabelog, I found a variety of delicious tuna bowls. I don't have an image of tuna in Kyoto, but it's rare, so I visited. The exterior and interior of the store are designed like a cafe, but there are tuna fish prints on the wall inside, and it seems that the owner, who loves fishing, is serving tuna bowls. This might be promising. Looking at the menu, there are tuna bowls with a fixed topping and bowls that combine half portions. Since I'm a greedy old man, I want to eat a variety of things, so I decided to order the one that can be combined. Today, I ordered a triple bowl that combines three types of half bowls (Negitoro ¥600 + 4 pieces of pickled tuna ¥650 + 4 pieces of bluefin tuna ¥750 = ¥2,000) with a large serving of rice for ¥100. It was ready in less than 10 minutes. The tuna was quite filling and beautifully presented. There was soy sauce and sauce on the table, so we mixed both together and poured the tuna over it♪ As expected of a tuna specialty store, all the tuna was fresh and delicious♪ The bluefin tuna in particular was outstanding! The rice was not vinegared rice, but regular white rice, so there was no need to be picky. The wakame miso soup was also delicious. It was all finished in about 5 minutes. It was a delicious tuna bowl with a choice of dishes. Thank you for the meal.
