Today, I came here. This is a Chinese restaurant located in a section of "Ryuma-dori" in Fushimi, where many quaint sake breweries stand. While retaining its rustic exterior, the interior of the restaurant has been renovated to have a bright and casual atmosphere, with a kitchen in the back, four counter seats along the side, and three four-seater tables in the front. It is run by two women. The menu includes "a la carte items, sets, desserts, drinks, etc." I ordered a "Mapo Bowl" by itself, and it came after a while. The medium-thick mapo is made of minced meat and silken tofu, and has a slight sweetness from the sweet bean sauce. It is easy to eat and has a mild taste with a moderate spiciness and numbness. The soup that came with it is not Chinese-like, but rather a clear soup that is somehow Kyoto-like. I finished it in no time... the amount is light (-∀-`; ) It feels like a tourist price.
