The well-known Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) ``Uotami'' is located on the second floor of a building in front of Tsu Station.I went there on a weekday night for a banquet for 10 people. There are quite a lot of seats inside the store, mainly in private rooms, and when I arrived around 6:30 pm, there were only a few customers. What I received that day was Salmon Carpaccio and a Gifu specialty for 3,200 yen including all-you-can-drink! The grilled chicken course is very reasonable, but the food is also worth the price. What was good was the octopus carpaccio, which was a good size and had fatty salmon, and the generous amount of dressing went well with the onion slices. On the other hand, what was disappointing was the generously grated hiyacha soba noodles that came out at the end, and the noodles were clearly overcooked and surprisingly soft, making me wonder if they should be served as is. That said, it's definitely cheap, so I think it's not bad for people who want to have a party at a cheap price.
