Since our founding, we have been patronized by many people, including local customers, for over 50 years, and with the belief that we are a butcher shop where you can see the face of the producers, we will continue to purchase Matsusaka beef directly from farmers who raise it, producing high quality Matsusaka beef. [Matsushige] is the long-awaited opening of [Specialty Matsusaka Meat Asahiya], which has been delivering products to everyone's tables at reasonable prices.

For a long time, in the Matsusaka region, young cows born in the Tajima region (Hyogo prefecture) and raised in Kishu were introduced as draft cattle. Since the Meiji era, these draft cattle have been fattened over a long period of time to produce Matsusaka beef with superior meat quality.

Our sister store, Torisawa, is located on the second floor of Matsushige. All the beef we handle here is Matsusaka beef. We are also particular about the procurement of chicken, and use Daisen chicken from Tottori. They are grown with care in a blessed natural environment at the foot of Mt. Daisen in Tottori, with plenty of clean air and fresh underground water, and under strict hygiene management.
