At Zhangya Chinese Restaurant, you can enjoy a wide range of dishes at reasonable prices, from familiar Chinese dishes such as homemade gyoza and sweet and sour pork to authentic Chinese dishes such a |
I visited this mainland Chinese restaurant on a weekday evening, about a 10-minute walk from Matsusaka Station. The restaurant has about four counter seats, seven tables, and a private room. I went there around 7pm, and there were four other groups of customers. The menu includes a draft beer set for 680 yen, which comes with one dish of your choice from about 30 types, various set meals for 880 yen, and of course the standard Chinese dishes, Noodles such as Ramen and Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles), and rice dishes such as fried rice, Tianjin rice, and Chinese rice. First, I ordered the draft beer set, and for the dish, I chose the char siu menma, which was a very strong color, unlike the sample photo, and the taste was also very strong as it looked, although it went down well with alcohol. I also ordered Taiwanese sweet and sour pork. I love sweet and sour pork, but at bad restaurants there are often more onions than meat, and I honestly don't like onions, so it's a big risk for me, so I don't order it at a new restaurant, but Taiwanese sweet and sour pork doesn't have any vegetables and is basically just meat, so I can order it with confidence, so I order it quite often if I have this. This was a simple sweet and sour pork with just meat and a little green onion, and it wasn't bad. The black fried rice on the teppan that was recommended looked really delicious, so I'd like to try it next time. Thank you for the meal.
