I stopped by Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) along National Route 1 in Yokkaichi City. It's on the premises of Aeon Town Tomari. From the entrance, it feels more like a pub for young people than Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) for the masses. The lighting inside the store is modest and the space has a calming feel. It feels like a modern Japanese-style Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). By the way, the BGM is a popular song. For now, I'll order a draft beer. The taste was Kinpira Burdock. (330 yen) I was looking at the menu while drinking beer, and the restaurant's name is Sumika, so they have a wide selection of charcoal-grilled meat and Seafood. In particular, the charcoal-grilled chicken called Akadori Thigh Black was a signature menu item. Afterwards, they seemed to recommend sashimi, but on that day they were sold out of everything except octopus, so I decided not to try the octopus even though they recommended it. I ordered ``black grilled red chicken thigh'' and `` Tempura tempura.'' To finish, I tried ``charcoal-Onigiri rice balls with burnt butter'' and ``seaweed miso soup.'' My impression is that when you bite into the black grilled red chicken thigh, the fat and flavor spread in your mouth. The sizes are large, medium and small, and even the small size I ordered this time was a bit pricey at 1,427 yen, but the taste was definitely delicious. The Tempura platter is also very filling. It was fried crispy and delicious. Tempura platter includes two shrimp tempura, one conger eel, sweet potato, shishamo, pumpkin, onion, eggplant, enoki mushroom, perilla leaves, etc., and it's hearty and looks gorgeous. However, I think it would have been better if it had tempura sauce. Since it's so voluminous, I got tired of just adding salt. Both are expensive, but since they have large quantities, I don't think they are that expensive. It's a nice restaurant with a nice atmosphere, so I think it's good for couples or small gatherings. It's open until 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, so you can relax and drink without worrying about the time. I would like to visit again.
