事前に電話で問い合わせてみると先一ヶ月ほど予約は埋まっているとの事で当日席を狙って開店30分前の10:30に到着。桑名の海沿いにあるはまぐりプラザ二階の食堂はまかぜさん。
受付で記名、メニューを決めて先に注文。赤須賀定食、特大蛤酒蒸し、缶ビールを選択。
食堂手前のテレビ付き待ち合い室でしばし待機。11:00になると名前を呼ばれる。
すぐに用意された赤須賀定食は焼き蛤が3個、蛤フライが一個、サラダに野菜の天ぷら、しじみの赤だし、白ごはん、漬物。
最初に店員さんから蛤の焼き方を聞き、カセットコンロで焼く。
遅れて出て来た蛤酒蒸しの大きさにびっくり。(笑)さすがの特大、味が濃い。
地元桑名産の濃厚な旨味の蛤をリーズナブルに楽しめる。
