的矢かきを養殖している佐藤養殖場さん直営のお店。的矢湾の入江、かき養殖の筏の目の前という抜群のロケーションにあります。海上桟橋の座席にも惹かれましたが、訪問時は酷暑日だったので２階に。窓から見える的矢湾の景色、額縁の中の写真かと思うほどの良い景色です。
夏の旬は、的矢湾産の生岩牡蠣。これが、今まで見たこともないほどの大きさ！生姜風味のタレをたっぷりつけてガブリと頬張ると、口の中に海の香りと牡蠣のエキスがジュワッと広がります。美味しい。。これだけ大きいのに大味にならず、臭みも全くない超新鮮な岩牡蠣。この時期・場所でないとなかなか味わえないですね。
シングルシードオイスターという小さめの牡蠣も頂きましたが、こちらは旨味がギュッと凝縮されています。ただ岩牡蠣のインパクトが凄すぎたのであまり印象に残らず。。またカキフライもジューシーな牡蠣の旨味をしっかり味わえて美味しいですね。次回は是非冬の時期に伺って、的矢がきの生牡蠣を食してみたいです。
