On this day, I was invited to the end of the year party of the department that I always work for. However, I had a week off from that day lol. In the morning, I cleaned and did laundry, and in the afternoon, I played pachinko in front of the station ♪ The special bonus ended at a strange time, so I decided to have a pre-party by myself in Kokubuncho. I had a few places in mind, but I was rejected by them all lol. Well, it's the height of the end of the year party season, so it can't be helped (^^;). As I was walking towards the venue for the day, a certain high-end Yakiniku (Grilled meat) restaurant in Kokubuncho, I passed Kotaro. ...It's too luxurious for a pre-party lol. Well, next time I'll have Yakiniku (Grilled meat), so I'll have a drink with some light fish lol. I entered the restaurant around 6pm on a weekday. The counter was gradually vacant, but the seats in the back seemed to be full. It seems like everyone is having a year-end party, but if it was a nice restaurant, it might be the best. I had one cup of Toroki sake. The side dishes were amberjack sashimi, salted fish, and monkfish liver. I decided to take in a lot of purines right away lol First, I ordered amberjack sashimi. Amberjack has good elasticity and a pleasant, firm texture. To be honest, I don't order sashimi very often other than bonito. I like sashimi, but if I order fish, I'll order it grilled. However, amberjack and yellowtail are exceptions, and I love winter sashimi. The monkfish liver was quite large. Naturally, the quality of the monkfish liver was good, but the ponzu sauce was delicious. I think it's a good side dish that makes the rich monkfish liver refreshing. The grated daikon radish does a great job with the salted fish. It neutralizes the rich and salty salted fish just right. I'm sure I've had this combination before, but this was a dish that felt particularly special. I left after just under an hour, just the right amount of seasoning. However, I think it was a bit too extravagant for a pre-party - regrets, regrets♪ Now, next is Yakiniku (Grilled meat)- I'm going to eat my fill! *Note: Unfortunately, there are no Yakiniku (Grilled meat) reviews lol
