We partner with the largest wholesaler in the Sendai market to purchase Oyster that are in the best condition that day, regardless of origin or brand, which allows us to create a perfect balance between taste and price. Of course, there are seasonal oysters depending on the production area, but you can find plump and delicious Oyster throughout the year. We are also proud of our extremely fresh sashimi. We can easily make it for 2 people! Its freshness is obvious. Enjoy the fresh fish that can only be found at that time of year!
Food Robata menu includes charcoal-grilled Cow tongue and extra-large Kinka mackerel with good fat.
The charcoal grilled menu at Date no Kura is also delicious. The extra-large Kinka mackerel is fatty and packed with flavor, making it the best. The more the sake goes on, the more salty it is. We only use the very soft part of Cow tongue that can only be removed in small quantities from each cow. Matured for 3 days with a homemade blend of spices. Bringing out the flavor and texture of the beef tongue to its fullest, the dish is finished with charcoal smoke. The synergistic effect of flavor and aroma makes it even more delicious.

Date no Kura does not offer a grand menu of sake. (We'll keep track of the popular and standard places, as well as seasonal specials, etc.) We have a rich lineup of local sake carefully selected by the manager, mainly from Tohoku. It comes out often, so you can enjoy it fresh. The taste becomes even more delicious when combined with our specialty dishes. We also offer an All-you-can-drink course (for drinks only) menu, so please feel free to visit us.
