もともと私は、シフォンケーキというものがあまり好きではない。
シフォンを5個食べるのなら、ガトーショコラみたいな重～いのを1個食べたい。
ところが最近、手土産に東京某店のシフォンケーキを頂く機会があり、
「ちっ。東京からわざわざ来んのにシフォンかよ。もっと美味いモンあるべ、っつーの」と
心の中で悪態付きながら食してみると、意外や意外。
ほわほわ・・・だけじゃないハリと弾力しっとり感、そして味と香りの深さに驚いた。
んまあ！シフォンケーキって、こんなに美味しいモンだったの!?
忘れないうちに早速、手近なお店にLet's ら Go～。
コチラのシフォンケーキは1個108円(込)。なんと、他店の半額以下じゃありませんか。
シメシメこりゃ儲けた（?）、とばかり並んでいた全種類を数個ずつ購入し、
家の冷蔵庫で冷やしてから食べました。
う、うーーーーーーーーーーーーーん・・・・・
パッサパサで、トム&ジェリーのチーズみたいな大きな空洞だらけ。
イチゴもゴマもチョコもみんな同じ味で甘さだけは強い。
フワフワと大きく膨らんでいても弾力はなく、潰したら潰れっ放し。
108円(込)だし？言われれりゃそれまでだけど、あまりに残念。
コレもシフォン。アレもシフォン。たぶんシフォン。きっとシフォン。
やっぱり私は、シフォンケーキとは相性悪いのかもしれない。
