Right next to Nagamachi Station! The best thing about this place is the charcoal grill. A Japanese-style Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) that you can visit every day and enjoy the seasonal flavors.
Located right outside the north exit of Nagamachi Station! With a lively, down-to-earth atmosphere, Shizuru is a great place to hang out with friends after work, or with your family. Its menu and pric |
Nagamachi is the first town I lived in after moving from Tokyo. I moved from within the 23 wards to Nagamachi, so it was a culture shock! It was the early 70s, and this area was dark (lol). I lived there for about 10 years, so I have the map of Nagamachi 1-8 memorized. "Nagamachi Minami? That address didn't exist in the past. Tomorrow Nagamachi? It was the back yard of the JNR freight, right? Until the 90s." In a sense, there was a luxurious development zone. Nagamachi is in the spotlight now. It was great, it was great. This was my third visit to "Shizuru". It was really crowded. I was saved because my friend made a reservation for me a few days in advance, but I couldn't actually get in, it was dangerous. First of all, I had a 2-hour all-you-can-drink♬ In addition to draft beer, there was a fair number of items, but I guess it was okay? In the end, it was a series of draft beers, draft beers, and high-ball beers (lol). The appetizer was something like chicken meatball consomme soup. It was a bit disappointing that it wasn't nigiri Sushi... And there was lightly pickled cucumber, stewed tripe, potato salad, shumai, assorted sashimi, etc. All of them have the originality of Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). It has a slightly more adult image that sets it apart from the big chain restaurants. Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) are absolutely necessary on weekends. You can't get in after 7pm. Thank you for the meal.
