Saturday, the first day of Golden Week. Partly cloudy. 20℃. I'm alone. It's humid and I sweat a little when I walk, so a T-shirt is fine. Today, I came to this old place that I've been interested in for a long time. It's lunchtime, there's one customer ahead of me, and three people with reservations. I sat at the end of the counter. I wanted to see what they were like, so I ordered the cheapest, "A Lunch Sushi 1,400 yen." First, strong hot tea. This is delicious. You can expect good tea from a restaurant. Then two Small dish. The boiled bamboo shoots are in season and soft and delicious. The squid and radish are rich and delicious with squid thighs. Then the nigiri Sushi is served. It's a little round and cute. Now, a bite of the octopus. Soft and delicious. It's first class. This year's octopus champion has been decided! And then the sea bream. I was impressed by how delicious it was. The salad roll was exquisitely balanced and also delicious. All the other toppings were delicious as well. The miso soup had shrimp heads and tails in it, and the broth was perfect. I may have underestimated it a little, but I think it's a pretty good restaurant. Next time, I'll try the 2,500 yen lunch that the group next to me was eating.
