You can enjoy the standard Hokkaido menu.
On November 13th, I went to Tsubohachi's Sanuma Oyasu branch. Well, it was a so-called drinking party. It's a restaurant I frequent frequently. Tsubohachi is Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) that was born in Sapporo, Hokkaido, so it has a lot of standard Hokkaido dishes. One of the dishes I ordered was Sapporo Miso Ramen. It uses noodles from Nishiyama Seimen. It is the type of noodle used in many Ramen shops in Sapporo, and can be said to be the noodle that symbolizes Sapporo Ramen. The noodles were thick and curly, with a chewy texture. The ingredients were char siu, bean sprouts, chives, corn, etc., and the soup was quite rich, but it went well with the thick noodles. The price was 480 yen (excluding tax). The portion was small, so it was just the right size to eat as Ramen for the end of the meal. Looking at the menu, there are many dishes related to Hokkaido, such as Genghis Khan (Mutton grilled on a hot plate), Zangi, salmon roe bowl, and Seafood Bowl. Ingredients from Hokkaido are also prominent. This time, I had to drive home, so I didn't drink alcohol, but the menu is rich, so I was able to enjoy it. I ended the meal with a Hokkaido melon parfait. I was very satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

On March 25th, I went to Tsubohachi's Sanuma Oyasu branch. It's a restaurant I frequent, and I came here on November 13th last year, with almost the same group of people. I wondered if it was ok to have a drinking party during the COVID-19 pandemic, but since we were a small group, we decided to get together. It was a weekday, and the COVID-19 pandemic was a factor, so I thought the restaurant would be empty, but it was quite crowded. The nearby parking lot was also full. Of course, at the entrance, there are signs calling for thorough alcohol disinfection to prevent infection. Nowadays, all restaurants are taking similar measures. Tsubohachi is Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) that was born in Sapporo, Hokkaido, so they have a lot of standard Hokkaido dishes such as Genghis Khan (Mutton grilled on a hot plate) fried chicken, young chicken zangi, and Hokkaido roe and salmon Oyako-don (Chicken and egg bowl). It was delicious. One of the things I ordered was Sapporo Miso Ramen. I ordered it last time too. The noodles used are from Nishiyama Seimen, which is used in many Ramen restaurants in Sapporo, and can be said to be the symbol of Sapporo Ramen. The noodles are thick and curly, with a chewy texture. The ingredients are pork fillets, bean sprouts, Chinese chives, corn, etc., and the soup is quite rich, but it goes well with the thick noodles. The black pepper was effective and delicious. The price was 480 yen (excluding tax). The portion is small, so it's perfect as Ramen to finish off a meal. I had to drive home, so I didn't drink alcohol, but the menu is extensive, so I still enjoyed it. This time, I ended with a Hokkaido melon parfait. It was a combination of a roll cake made with rich Hokkaido melon puree and sweet melon ice cream. Thank you for the meal. Many restaurants in my area are still open as usual, but Miyagi Prefecture has finally had a second case of infection. Travel restrictions have been imposed in Tokyo and Osaka. I hope that the infection does not spread any further.
