気仙沼の魚市場に行った際に行ってきました。
マグロの海鮮丼がメインのお店さんで、メニューを見るとマグロ好きにはたまらないマグロてんこ盛りの海鮮丼が数多くあり、注文を決めるのに困ってしまいました。
そこでふと思い出したのは、お店の入口に掲げてあった黒板の案内ポップ。
本日のオススメ「メカジキの煮付定食」なるものがあったのを思い出した。
地元の漁師さんに「突きん棒漁」のことをお話してもらったことがあったので、「よっしゃ。メカ喰うか！」ってことで注文。
マグロの海鮮丼の様な豪華な見た目ではありませんが、箸を付けなくても身がプリっとしていることがわかる。
煮付け具合もちょうど良く、ご飯がすすむすすむ。お味噌汁のワカメも肉厚で歯ごたえ十分。
今度はメインのマグロ海鮮丼にチャレンジしたいと思いますが、また入口の看板に「メカ煮付」の文字があったらこっちを頼んでしまうんだろーな(笑)
