旅ごはん。
松島の観光船桟橋のすぐ近くにあるお寿司屋さんです。
立地的には観光地ど真ん中ですが、やや奥まった場所に建っているため、意外と穴場かもしれません。
店内はカウンター8席、6人掛けテーブル2卓、4人掛けテーブル2卓で雰囲気は普通のお寿司屋さんです。
開店後すぐの11時過ぎに訪店しましたが既に先客1組。ご常連さんらしく、カウンターで親方と談笑されていました。
私はひとりでしたが、4人掛けテーブル席に通していただけました。
夏場、松島ではあなごが旬で絶賛キャンペーン中。どのお店もあなご丼を出しており、こちらのお店でも当然ありましたが、ここでの私のお目当ては生あなご。
親方おまかせにぎり10貫 4200円
生あなご、煮あなご、えんがわ、あわび、北寄貝、海老、かに、ウニ、いくら、中とろと豪華版です。
生あなごには塩が乗せられているのでそのままいただきます。白身の美しいお姿、やや弾力を感じる食感、ほんのり脂が乗っていてとても美味しいですね。
煮あなごはふわっふわでこちらも超絶美味。他のネタも新鮮で美味しいです。めったに食べないお寿司ですが、奮発して大正解。お味噌汁ももずく酢もしっかり手がかけられていました。
こちらのお店は、親方が非常にこだわりを持っていて、ネタも厳選されていますし、仕事もとても丁寧ですね。ただその分、時間はちょっとかかりました。注文後25分で配膳、10分で完食という感じ。
観光地の飲食店というよりは、良くも悪くも地元のまっとうな寿司屋という認識が正しいかと思います。
