I don't always decide to go to the movies on my days off, but if I decide that it's a movie I should see now, that I won't see it again, and that I should definitely experience it on the big screen, I have no choice but to go. It's the height of heat outside, but I'll have to bear it for a while. Once I enter the movie theater, I can spend my time comfortably and coolly. It's not too cold like it used to be. The seats are better now, and I'd rather live in a movie theater. It's a movie from 50 years ago. I've seen it on TV dozens of times, but this is the first time I've seen it on the big screen. The director, the music, and the two leading actors were all very popular in Japan in the past. I can still hear the music on the streets, and the actress in particular must have visited Japan frequently. Rattatatta~♪ I'm a little excited to see a nostalgic movie, but the story is an absolute tragedy. Two lovers are torn apart by war and forced to separate. There must have been many such cases. I was grateful for the darkness of the movie theater after a long time. Whether I cry or laugh, my stomach gets empty I don't know if it's because I'm insensitive, healthy, or just a big eater, but I wandered out into the city again looking for lunch, but it was hard to decide because there was a closed day here and a line here. Finally, I reached the station, so I decided to stop by here for the first time in a while. "Nagano Tokyu Department Store" I haven't had any particular problems since moving to Nagano City, but I was surprised to find this place. Why does it have such a high status? "This midyear gift is from Tokyu!" "What! Did you buy it at Tokyu?" "I got wrapping paper from Tokyu. I'll wrap something I bought somewhere else in this to give as a gift..." I don't mean to be badmouthing it, but I was really surprised because I only had the image of Tokyu as a supermarket in front of a major Toyoko Line station, and it seems to be treated about the same as Mitsukoshi used to be. I think this is a great achievement of the past managers. "Pork Cutlet Maisen Nagano Tokyu Branch" Maisen has the image of Pork Cutlet restaurant in a department store. I often went to Shinjuku Station Building, which now has a vain name of Lumine Est, but it was quietly located on the top floor of that unrefined commercial building. My aunt liked it, or rather, it was a cute and conservative choice by my aunt who only wanted to go to places she had been to once. "Chabi Pork Loin Cutlet Set" 1,480 yen I chose what is probably the flagship item, located in the middle of the menu, which has become much neater than I remember. 130g is a very normal size, but the reason I felt it was lacking is because I have not yet trained enough. The loin cutlet, which seems to have been thoroughly fried with fine breadcrumbs, gives a sense of "refined" rather than "hearty". Both sweet and spicy sauces are available, but I prefer the thick sweet one. The dish is topped with a generous amount of cabbage. It's sweet, but has a nice sour taste that makes your throat feel like it's made of husks. It's also nice that you can have as much rice, miso soup, and cabbage as you want. And so, my first department store meal in a long time is complete. It was a day that made me feel nostalgic in many ways.
