Atsumi is an Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) near TOiGO, and I went there at lunchtime because I heard they serve Jiro-style Ramen. Inside the restaurant, there are counter seats and raised seats. The menu includes Atsumi Jiro, tonkotsu soy sauce, tonkotsu miso, and Mazesoba (Soupless noodles). On this day, I tried Atsumi Jiro. You can choose the portion size from mini, regular, and large, so I went for the regular (750 yen). I ordered no garlic, extra vegetables, and normal fat. You can even ask for extra garlic. Ramen comes with plenty of boiled bean sprouts. There is also a bit of cabbage. There are two slices of pork. They are large and soft. The noodles are thick. They are smooth and have a chewy texture. The soup is soy sauce flavored. It is a little strong, but the vegetables are not flavored so it's just right. The soup is delicious with the umami of the fat.
