Today's lunch is at ``Eel Kappo Sakuraya'' in Matsumoto City. I arrived at Matsumoto City from Nagano City. After touring the national treasure Matsumoto Castle, it's time to fill up on eel. Originally, I wanted to go to ``Unagi no Matsuki,'' one of the 100 famous restaurants, but I didn't have time to line up in the morning, so I made a reservation here. It seems that it has absolutely no relation to the famous restaurant ``Sakuraya'' in Mishima City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Another deciding factor is that it is close to Matsumoto Castle. The exterior of the store is unexpectedly large. This is truly the Unagi Palace. The inside of the store is very clean, and the hospitality of the waitresses is excellent. This may have been around. The eel bowl menu is 5,610 yen for special medium bowl, 4,290 yen for upper eel bowl, 2,970 yen for eel bowl, and 2,750 yen for eel bowl.Sakuraya is not unagiju but unagidon. As expected, it is special. Since I couldn't eat it, I chose the upper eel bowl.I don't drink alcohol, but since I took the opportunity Tabelog coupon, I got some bone rice crackers and waited until the rice bowl arrived.I waited about 20 minutes before the rice bowl arrived. 3 pieces of eel. It's a measure to prevent it from overflowing the bowl.)" Even 3 pieces is enough for one eel. This is the first time I've seen a visual of the eel folding over each other. It looks kind of voluminous. First, take a bite of the eel. Outside It's a Kanto-yaki dish that's crispy and chewy in the middle. The sweetness of the sauce comes out on the front, but I hate the saltiness of the soy sauce that sometimes hits deep inside. The rice is also cooked to a firm consistency and is exquisite. The liver soup is also a large size. It's plump and crunchy and delicious. The eel looks more expensive in a jubako, but the taste is the same even in a bowl, so I think it's good. However, visually, it's a bit strange to see the white rice peeking through the gaps between the spread of eel. kana….
